Debate

So the democratic candidate debate occurred tonight. Apparently, the rivalry between Clinton and Obama has only grown larger and larger due to the debate. It makes one wonder though; what about poor John Edwards? Does no one really care about him?

According to a poll taken today in Soc 118 at least 3-4 people do care about John Edwards. When asked "why" the responses people gave used the turbulent debate between Clinton and Obama as justification that Edwards still matters in the race.

Edwards is running on empty. National polls show him a VERY distant third in every state. He is only staying in the race out of principle and respect to his constituents and supporters. Frankly, the democratic race would benefit from his earlier rather than late drop out so that we can focus on the REAL contenders, Obama and Hillary.
